W1555 Buurtkrant #10

It’s here again! The new W1555 Buurtbrief - for everyone in the Wolphaertstraat, Gouwstraat, Clemensstraat and a part of Katendrechtse Lagedijk - dropped into the letterboxes last week! With a beauty of a drawing by our neighbour Carmen on this edition’s cover!

We begin with a look into our last events: the legendary Participizza-event, Sociocratie workshop and a newborn at home! Followed by ‘Whispers of Spring’ by Bebe honoring her Dutch home! Ieke brings us her stories traveling in India in ‘Across the border’ and if by that page your appetite is open you can try the ‘Recipe by Jochie’, a classic and easy to make Placki Ziemniaczane! Which is a tribute to Jochie at the same time, since he passed away recently. RIP dear Jochie.

Goslink made a beautiful drawing with questions to find out about the Championships Giving Paws specially for our young readers, but adults not excluded! ‘Art in the making’ pages shows what our creative neighbours are up to, followed by all times classic ‘Gentle Lady Love Letters and Advice’. You can meet the Cover Artist Carmen José in an interview about her latest book ‘I don’t know how to draw a tree’. And last but not least we close with our favorite ‘Spiritual Corner’ on practicing self-love and we present you many recommendations of the neighborhood! Go go go!
